Hi, I'm playing a Paladin and was wondering, how come it said I was forced to leave my mount behind yet it never was left behind, in fact it kept following me.

Hurricane winds make movement difficult.
You ride a midnight-blue atyrros northwest.
You are forced to leave your mount behind.

Snowy Wastelands
White snow and large chunks of ice surround you.  You can see
sssssss  a few half burned pieces of wood here arranged in a circle as if
sss*sss  someone set up a camp and then quickly abandoned it.  It's mostly
sssssss  clear, well past freezing, and there is a gale blowing.

Obvious exits: n e s w nw ne sw se

You walk southeast.

Snowy Wastelands
You are surrounded by white snow as far as the eye can see.

(Charmed) A midnight-blue pelted creature waits here in seeming anticipation.

There are two reasons for which you may leave your mount behind one is when its too tired to go on and in that case it will rest on the spot. The second, your case, you were forced to dismount because of the wind, yet your horse was not yet tired so it kept following you.

If the mountain is too steep for me to climb unaided, then how come I managed to get to where I ended up without my steed? I should have stayed stuck behind along side the steed since I can't climb. Seems a bit buggy perhaps cause the game considered me still on the steed when I went south, yet the steed never came along with me.

You ride a midnight-blue atyrros south.
You are forced to leave your mount behind.

Malakine Mountains
hhhhhhhhp  Small mountains with deep valleys inbetween form a majestic
hhh^^^hhh landscape around you.  Jutting out randomly from the low
^^^^*^^^^ mountains are tall, narrow peaks.  They do not reach as high as
hh^^^^^^^ the Ice Wall Mountain range to the north yet remain formidable to
^^^^^hhhh even the most experienced climber.  It's partly cloudy, freezing,
and calm.

You see Malakine Mountains.
A midnight-blue atyrros is barely visible north from here.
