I spent 11 obsidian trying to get an NPC healer to uncurse a weapon on me last night. It was absolutely disgusting. Something seriously needs to be done about NPC's failing there spell casting, some sort of massive discout if they do. It pretty much cleared out my entire bank account. Things like that do nothing but detract from the overall fun of the game play, and make the game much less enjoyable to play. |

It isn't, I did this after last nights reboot, and didn't save any money on failed casts. |

None are usually on when I play, certainly not last night. I was one of I think a total of 4-5 people on at the time. |

It's definitely in the game. It should be working for blindness, plague, poison and curse. Deafness still pays full price (due to technical reasons). Oelaniala the healer says 'I offer the following spells:' Heal poison - Cast cure poison for 6 platinum. > heal poison Oelaniala the healer utters the words, 'cure poison'. Oelaniala the healer frowns. Oelaniala the healer says 'I wasn't able to cure you, so it's half-price.' You haggle the price down to 2 platinum, 2 gold, 7 silver coins. > heal poison Oelaniala the healer utters the words, 'cure poison'. You feel less sick. A warm feeling runs through your body. You haggle the price down to 4 platinum, 1 gold, 4 silver coins. |

Hrmm, I wished I had saved a log of this. I went through 11 obsidian though, at nearly 8 platinum a cast, and never got any of those messages, it cost me full price every time. The only thing I could think of, is that possibly the cast wasn't "failed" it simply failed to decurse the weapon, due to the level of the weapon vs the level of the spell. If it's not that then I'm baffled. |

This is exactly why and what would cause a half-price cast. |
