Would it be possible to have the game reset your action to "is here" when you move from the room?

Why? Too lazy to do it yourself?

no 3 it's because people forget they have different actions up. Just the other day I had to tell two people OOC to switch their actions.

Interesting idea. Probably not hard to do.

I like the idea, except that there's a lot of room-independent actions (is here with his dog; is here, holding an average elf's hand; is drenched in blood; etc..), and doing this would make them a total pain.

Actions are fine, Salandarin is correct about the dissociation of rooms and actions - I fondly remember Bren's action from back in the day, for instance.

Spotting people who are still 'here, sexx0ring you' is a rare occasion which can be remedied by a brief ooc tell.

What he said. It's both unnecessary and doing more bad than good to make actions room-dependent. Why would someone who "is here, looking gloomy" loose his expression as soon as he walks out of the room? If someone is in a room and supposedly "is here on his knees" he may as well stand up and NOT LEAVE the room as well. So I strongly feel that actions are perfect as they are.

The only thing I would like to see change in actions, (although it has been mentioned before and if I remember well it would be a hell to code) would be to see someone who "is flying here, with an action as well" or someone who "is resting here, with an action as well" and so on.

Then instead of screwing with action, make a single room action command which will disappear if you walk anywhere. Then action can remain unchanged. Or maybe people are just being lazy. Or maybe action should show in score.

If that's another command than action, then I wholeheartedly like it. Something like raction for room-action.
