Sheath and draw. Sheath puts your primary weapon away in a scabbard or other container meant for your weapon. Can only be done with swords, daggers, maces, and flails. Draw draws the weapon of choice in the scabbard right into your hand, lag time is the same as wear, but in one fluid motion. |

Yes, I like the idea. Sheath auto removes your weapon, draw equips you with it. However, should your weapon be in your inventory once sheathed or should you need to be wearing a scabbard? Also, this should be working for weapons like staff, polemace, polearm etc. Just swords and daggers. |

The way that Sinnoch is "imagining" it works like this: <sheathed at hip> an adamantite longsword (brand new) <cinched to belt> a large waterskin (brand new) <strapped to back> an earthen claymore (brand new) Depending on what you're wearing and the weapon type, you'd either strap it to your back or sheath it at your hip. For the first, you need to be wearing something on your back/your body, so you need to be wearing armor to use the strap. For sheathing, any belt will do. It pretty much assumes that all weapons come with their own containers. This could also give rise to an auto draw command to always draw your weapon if your hands are empty and you are engaged. It's not a bad idea, really. |
