I've been playing around with this skill and this isn't a complaint about the mechanics of the skill, but rather what the flavor message is when a critical cleave is performed. It's sort of boring.

for example:

Code:
> cleave lina
You cleave through Linarumien's head!
Your cleave does UNSPEAKABLE THINGS to Linarumien!


When aiming upper

Could be changed to something like this:

Code:
> cleave lina
You cleave through Linarumien's neck, sending her head flying!
Blood spews profusely from the wound as the body collapses to the ground.
Your cleave does UNSPEAKABLE THINGS to Linarumien!

I like this idea alot. A whole lot. I'd love to see a message like that in the game. If I get an SK christmas wish adding this to SK would be it.

Really nice ideas, though I don't think this falls high in D's list of "to do's" Still if you prepare some messages for all of the possible hits, we might see them coded.

That depends on how hard it is to do. If Dulrik could just change the words from what they are to what people want them to be in like an hour he probably would. He's not unreasonable. It depends on how much time it takes.

On the other hand If you asked him to script a persons head flying off and an actual flesh head landing on the ground that you could make a spirit doll of or embalm then you'd probably be waiting a long time.
