I have been thinking about people joining the same cabal in order to make a PK gank squad and how it could be avoided.... What the cabal you are able to join was randomly selected at character creation and first revealed at around expert? (the same goes for tribunals). |

No. I like not selecting which group I would like to join until my RP fits that group's RP. |

It's a very bad idea for many reasons. First, it's cabals that should pick the character and not vice versa. Second, this idea takes for granted that EVERY single character SHOULD be part of a cabal. Third, precoded solutions are always the worst and limit RP. Fourth, it will easily exclude some kinds of extreme concepts that are far beyond cookie-cut concepts. Fifth, it would force the player to RP towards the cabal concept GIVEN to him at creation... And these are just a few that came instantly to my mind as soon as I read this thread. |

This idea is probably one of the best I've ever heard. I have a complimentary suggestion: have adjectives randomly given at character creation and revealed at journeyman! Maybe we could get to work on some pre-generated descriptions, too... Idiot. |
