I find butchering the corpse of a plagues rat then eating its raw meat kinda gross and very unhealthy.
I want to be able to cook! Use the tinderboxes for something at least! Since most people just use glowing items.

You could always RP setting a fire and cooking your steaks until a system is implemented (if one is).

I dont know how to burn all the germs and diseases out of a steak that was part of a plagued animal.
