As we all know, Paladins and Hellions get about 3 faiths each, with one shared. Ain, Algorab, Sargas for Hellions.

Alshain, Ain and Dulrik for Paladins.

I propose though that with the setups, Hellions should also be able to worship Sadr and Paladins Meissa based on their skill sets.

I base this because, well Hellions can Plague and Poison while Paladin's can heal and are ultimately supposed to be the protectors of the weak. It would make sense. What do you guys think?

Sold. At first I had trepidations about this idea but you know what? You're right if you ask me.

I think this could open up a lot of fun RP opportunities.

I've been a huge fan of the Meissan paladin idea for a long time now, and it would make a lot of sense that the opposing faith of Sadr would get hellions to match.

Sadr could perhaps have hellions, but I think that the Meissan paladin ideal is already taken by Alshain's "purification" sphere.

Eh..I don't know. In my opinion, not all Paladins are crusaders wanting to "zomg destroy the evolz". Some, atleast in my mind, just want to live peaceful lives and protect those they love or their home and often times take an approach of healing the sick. Sort of like a priest, but yet if it comes down to it, they can take up their blade to protect those that they love. That's just my view though.

Meissa's sphere of "healing" and Alshain's version of "purification" are fairly close in the first place, but the approach taken by them is different. So too are the rest of the faiths in question, and those differences would color the overall tone of the paladin in question. A Meissan paladin would not be bound to some things that a Alshainite paladin is bound to, and vice versa.

You can't really be fighting evil when you're sitting around healing people. There's a reason there are priests, and priests can indeed take up arms when they have to (sometimes more effectively than paladins). I don't think that help vow really leaves a lot of room for a peaceful paladin.
