Post subject: | New Skill - Stomp |
Was going to call it Warstomp but didn't want to rip off WoW, and no the functionality is completely different. Basically the skill allows someone to stomp on a fallen (Tripped/Bashed/Gored) opponent to cause a good amount of damage. Then add a 2 round after the stomp so it ain't heavily abused in groups. Pretty much a long awaited upgrade to kick that requires a condition to be met before use. Naturally a Merc/Barbarian skill (Through probably be only useful to a Merc). Since it's capable of some hefty hefty damage, a missed or dodged stomp could result in the attacker falling over and stunning himself. Bonus Damage to Hooved Players >:) |

I like the idea. I usually play more mercs then any thing else. And right now I'm really enjoying the minotaur race. I think that stomp would be a good addition to the minotaurs fights. |

That's actually a pretty awesome idea, but it sounds so cowardly. I suppose though, if it were added, anyone playing a merc/barbarian that thought it too spineless could just avoid using it. I honestly can't imagine any well-played lightie using it, that's for sure. |

Now that I think about it Hellions might seem like a acceptable class for it as well. Like he said lighties might think it to be dastardly or weak to kick...well curve stomp someone while there down. |

Well, I'll overlook the gender confusion and get straight to stating my agreement again. Since hellions have their own twisted moral code, maybe stomp could be considered appropriate for them as well. That might vary due to roleplay too, since some of them may still consider it cowardly and some may consider it domination. I'm also thinking, and this may be a little bit out there, but it might be interesting for a rogue to possess such a skill. Dastardly tricks are a rogue's best friend, aren't they? |

For hooved races, I'd give em 'trample'. I just emote it for the fun of it but being able to actually do it would be awesome. |

Though this sounds like a fun idea, I don't know if I like adding anymore extra damage on top of a bashed character. |

Just make it a centaur, mino, and giant innate. If your gona tell me it's a cowardly dastardly spineless skill...you go curb check someone and see if you got the balls to do it. Cause if you give it to rogues your gona see a sprite trying to stomp on people, and thats just dumb. Centaurs and Minos got the hooves and giants are ...well they are GIANTS! |
