This is what I picture rallying cry being, but at the moment you can only do it if your blood is already pumping. Could we make it so that you can perform a rallying cry before battle?

I picture it has being something that you shout in the middle of battle when the courage of your men is wavering and it is about to turn into a rout. Rally means to revive or bring into order. Prior to combat, your troops should already be in battle-ready condition.

You can rally before a battle happens. I can name countless movies where a leader will rally the troops before a battle. In IRL rallying happens in both before and during battles. You rally your troops for a cause that they might be reluctant to do in the first place. Which could happen before or during combat.

Actually, it was both. If you watch the epilogue you will see the rallied army and his sword flying around.
