I would like to take the time to QQ about this. It sucks, really bad. Why was this put in? Why not just give the NPCs daggers to wield or something?

If they were wielding daggers, that would not allow them to reach the person attacking them. If you are front row or a different PC can be targetted, then it shouldn't be throwing daggers. I know they don't throw daggers if you're in the front row.

They don't just throw dagges btw, though you probably know and are just saying dagger to cover everything as a generalization. They also throw axes, spears, even boulders if the NPC is a giant. I agree the change has made leveling alot harder, especially for warlocks, but what're ya gonna do about it?

Those that are second row or third row usually have Dirt, trip, or another way to blind the NPC. Problem solved. Adapt. And try not to throw them back when you're young, you will get bent over and called Sally.

Are you trying to be dumb? The only people that fight 2nd row that get dirt is scouts, and Rogues, bards.

Warlocks, Necros, Shamans, Priests do not.

Everyone else should be training front row.

And don't even try to claim that your pet that is front row should be able to keep them dirted, if your a caster your to busy casting to order your pet around.

I am leveling a necro and I have no problems with it... You get hit a few times but you have to rest all the time to gain mana anyway, I dont see the problem...

THe only ones that would have any problem would be warlocks or priests. And last time I checked there are wands and staves of blind. Necros get blind, Sorcs Color Spray (which there are also wands/staves), shaman also get blind.

Your logic defeats you. Learn to play the classes better.

See, my problem is I was TRYING to use a warlock's AoE spells to level, and it's impossible when you get hit with 8+ daggers(and other things) a round. This basically defeats the purpose of having an elemental to level. Anyways, I'm just QQing I'll get over it, I just think this is a bit stupid. There's a reason those classes are in the second row for leveling, I mean jeez.

I remember being downstairs in Teron when a warlock was quaking 9 rooms of enforcers and getting myself almost quaked dead. Agonizing, that.

But enough of mammary lane, I have to agree NPCs up to a certain level (more clearly defined by others) should not be throwing things into the second row. Beyond that certain level, they can be that smart and well-prepared.
