So, I was thinking, I was wondering if it'd ever be possible for teachers of skills/spells to like refer you to an advanced teacher? Like, I go to a teacher for dodge, he teaches it to good, when you get the "You can't learn anymore of 'dodge' here." Message, have them say something along the lines of "Seek out XXX in Zhenshi for further lessons." Or "Seek out XXX in Unclaimed Territories for further lessons." Have them just give the name of the NPC and their like home country(like how they show up on the area command). Thoughts? |

Interesting, but only useful in certain specific instances, so I'd say that should be up to the builder. |

I like the idea but I'd prefer a more generic 'seek' part. I heard someone in zhenshi can further your training in zhensh tongue. Or... I heard someone in Grahme Village can further your training in animal husbandry. Too much info and summon train becomes that much easier or summon charm or whatever. Yeah, yeah, people in the know already know this, but it's all about people not in the know, right? Another point of consideration is the teacher's Ego points. Too much ego and the teacher won't suggest another is better. (Not enough ego and the teacher will say everyone else is better?) |

I like the idea of where it gives a general area and then you have to still find out who they are. It will be helpful to newbs, but still not giving so much info that ruins the fun of exploring. |

It doesn't take that much time to look at the who list and ask another person of your class, usually. I managed to luckily find almost all the trainers and advanced trainers just by exploring, but even the ones I didn't find in stride didn't take too long to ask people for. |

Ahh, yes, using the who list to find people of your class to teach you the advanced expert skills. I'd've never thought of that. |

I wouldn't mind a NPC put in each city like area that you can ask about trainers and they would direct you towards trainers that train your type in that area. For the base cities you could simply use the astral peeps @ the message boards. For example: If you were at the Heart and Rose and were class Sorc, you could ask him about trainers and he would direct you to the library and whatnot on the west side of town. If you were a warlock in Menegroth, the one there would tell you about the guild in the city, and possibly tell you about the teachers at Tlaxcala and the possiblity of aged masters of the art speculated to roam about the countryside and the surrounding islands. Perhaps not which skills taught at which persons, but just general areas. |
