Post subject:  HQ Logout

Regarding the circumstances that this post is being made in, I'm disappointed that it's necessary. When members of a cabal tell you to GTFO of their HQ, you should just do it.

But to avoid leaving by logging out in the middle of another faction's HQ is disgusting.

Will it be necessary, children, to ask Dulrik to place a "you can't log out here" restriction on HQs that you don't belong in?

People have been logging out in enemy territory for years now, hoping to get a free kill on a rather unprepared enemy when he logs back in.

It hasn't changed and I doubt it will change.

ShatteredKingdoms - where you won't get "You can't do that" messages.

It was an "ally". But it hardly makes a damn difference.

I don't really see it as a gameplay issue, more of an RP issue.

Unless you want to be an aberrant rogue.

Well, that statement was somewhat sarcastic as well as relevant to the topic.

:P

Logging out, is an OOC action.

I am very much against hardcoded solutions. If said character refused to beat it after being asked to and if said character is an ally, the answer to your problem is fairly simple: change your diplomatic status to a truce and strip them of said privileges.

I'd find it pretty annoying if the possibility of camping in enemy HQs were removed.

I agree with Lolth. If you don't agree with your ally on such things then he is not an ally.
