Yeah, I know this topic has been beaten to death again and again and again, but still, no harm in trying. The way Necromancers are now, they're fairly limited, and getting Holy Word is rather easy nowadays with tribunal NPCs and such. So, how about throwin a bone to the necros? Any chance that Animate Dead can be either changed back to normal, with just timed undead and 0 concentration, or can we atleast have the undead not decay if they require concentration? Seriously, it's a bit bogus that they require concentration AND decay simultaneously, albeit their concentration requirement is low, they require numbers to be effective, and that's difficult to pull off without some wands in game. With multiple undead, holding concentration for spells that could be useful (ie spell ward / shield) can be difficult to manage. What do you guys think, yay or nay? |

I can hold 19 wraiths while sleeping with 21 int. That's a lot of wraiths. The most any 'casual' pker ever needs is 6, because 6 fully equipped wraiths in your group will do a whole lot more slaughtering than my usual 19 wraiths with stone hunting spears and no armor. Just put some thought into it, necromancers are already too powerful. |

With Olian being able to break into any HQ solo as a necromancer, I do not think necromancers need that buff. |

I'm actually really glad Gilgon made Olian. He's shown what necro's really are capable of and that everyone who cries about how they suck is just flat out wrong. |

Actually, it's a very Monty Python sig. From The Holy Grail, in fact. |
