I have no idea how difficult it would be to add, but I've notice the last few days how easy it is to leave someone in your party behind as a leader and not notice it for a few rooms... from a realistic standpoint, I think it would take a pretty careless leader not to realize that over the last league/room someone didn't follow him. I've seen on other muds pretty simplistic messages (exa: Ack! You lost somebody!) that are given (once) the first time your party enters a new room and leaves someone behind. Only downside I could see is it makes people able to play without paying QUITE as much attention so there could be an argument to be made that good leaders will just be better at noticing if less people enter from room to room than should. Sort of related, too, it would be awesome if instead of "Mcbeth is here." you saw "Mcbeth is here, lying prone." or something like that when people were prone. That might even make my whole suggestion pointless and I can't think of any reason why it doesn't make sense unless it's a coding issue! |

I'm on the fence on the "Ack you lost someone" idea. But prone definately needs to show in your action. Its just plain annoying how it is now. |

I must agree as well. Having somone just wander away without a member of it's group is a pretty bad reflection upon the goup's leader, not to mention extremely annoying in-game. It would be hard to believe an entire group, not just the leader, not notice someone falling behind. |

The worst of this comes into play in the following scenario: You are mounted on a flying creature over mountains, or oceans - somewhere you can't normally traverse. The creature you are mounted on is bashed. The fight ends, and you move on without realizing the creature is bashed. You somehow dismount from your flying creature WITHOUT flying damage, and move in your predetermined direction WITHOUT flight - leaving the creature that you were using to FLY behind. Meaning you're now stuck. Can't move in any direction, including back to where your flying creature was. |

Yeah.. I totally endorse this idea. As a warlock.. sometimes your elemental will miss a bash and be prone, but the battle will end before Prone wears off. So the Warlock moves on to the next battle. Upon the first c magma you realize "im being ripped apart by this NPC, where is my.. O [REDACTED]!". |
