I am just curious on other people's opinions. Every single char I have had, I turn on aim upper and almost never turn it off. I only ever went lower on the body for rare-circumstances (like being a hellion for cleaving, or while lvling because I have a [REDACTED] accuracy weapon). |

Personally it depends on what I am doin at the time. If an NPC, or even PC, is lacking a piece of armor on a specific place on their body I aim there. If I am killing an NPC for an item and I do not want to damage it, seeing how it might be made of glass or whatnot, I aim away from the area of the body it is worn. However, if we are talking about pure PK, I usually do not have time before a fight to determine their equipment so I just aim upper. |

I almost always upper unless a wiser player than I suggests otherwise, or I'm hungry and need drumsticks to survive. It's not something I tend to think about. |

I think the whole MUD aims upper probably 75% of the time. There's no disadvantage to doing so. Aiming mid and lower are situational things, that I doubt the majority of people even pay attention to. |

Aim Upper ftw. Every character I create I spam certain things that I set up the character. Aim upper is one of them. Others including mood aggressive/defensive (depending on type of character, but i almost always start out with aggressive) auto junk, auto gold, legend 2 and stuff like that. Its just natural to me. |

It really depends on the situation for me. Aim upper for brute damage, I use against most people. Aim mid for certain fights, like swash vs swash. Really the first one to lose an arm loses. Aim lower is great for rogues because of hamstring, and I use it on rare occasions for various reasons. |

I didn't think it mattered with rogues about aiming lower. Hamstring for one hits the legs regardless of where you are aimed. If there is another reason please let me know. |

It doesn't matter, hamstring aims lower no matter what. Only time it would be beneficial to aim lower and hamstring is if you were in the front row getting attacks, and not being targeted. Both scenarios unlikely in pvp but definately nice against NPCs I guess. |

Says the one who played a horrible rogue ) Hamstring Aims lower anywhere you are aiming, And as demon said the only reason you should be using aim lower is if your front row so you can be hitting the same spot each time instead of for instance aiming upper but hamstringing while front row...You would be hitting two different spots with attacks and they would die much slower. |
