Concept-wise,
I would love to see holy word dispelling room spells cast by opposite alignments. for example, a hellion's rift by a truth priest or paladin holy word.

Discuss.

Wtf, holy word is already completely overpowered. No.

Yeah uh.. No.

I mean, first of all, that only helps the lighties. There's no lightie specific transportation spell for a darkie holy word to dispel.

That's the first among many reasons, but I don't actually feel like typing them out this early in the morning.

Agreed it's already overpowered. Don't add anymore to it..

Slightly off topic, I say nerf it a bit by making it so you can't concentrate on it while walking or following someone. Something that powerful should take every ounce of concentration and should require you to stand still on it.

Too powerful in team battles, dispelling midnight, warps, entangle, etc. I'm loathe of any change which makes the use of holy word in team battles more worthwhile.

Konge, I would edit your post to say 'multiple cabal powers' instead of naming them. You'll get deleted!

Note that the post was concerning concept, not balance.

Balance is another matter.

Balance wise, while holy word is in many aspects powerful, I do not think it would be 'overpowering' to have a chance of dispeling something with that kind of cost in mana and PE.
That aside, agreed the darkies would not benefit much from this but the hellion rifting + intimidate can get out of hand enough for me not to mind.

I don't like this idea at all.

No. Here's why.

It's not about just the rifts. It will make you able to dispel tons of cabal spells and make certain cabals 10x more powerful because they can't be dispelled this way. Namely the only one which doesn't use spells. Mine.

Holy word is already a PK winner. It won sk in it's own right a long time ago.

Plus, as any black hand priest will tell you, since they are the -best- priests at the moment, and Aise too maybe, a priest can pk anyone they want pretty easily. Priests are great.

Give hellions call armor, paladins may request most of it and need it for that rp, but hellions are the materialistic ones.
