It makes logical sense, as Paladins and Priests both have it, a hellion is the unholy knight of his god, is he not?

Bolt of glory :: Cleave
Dominate/intimidate :: Spear of faith
Rift :: Call Armor
Holy word :: ???

Do the math. Hellions got the short stick. Holy word for hellions.

(I dig ezeant's grave with this post, lol)

I voted no.

Cleave works on everyone, sometimes better than BoG.

Hellfire works on everyone, spear of faith does not.

Hellions also get hide/sneak maledictions. Hellions got a huge boost and are quite balanced ever since they got parry. They don't need holy word.

Oh, and if anyone uses the 'Well it just doesn't make sense!!' go do that elsewhere please.

If a hellion is unholy, shouldn't he have an "unholy" word?

I think cleave should be wimped in retribution for an unholy word spell!

Does that mean dark priests get unholy word?
And grey priests don't get a holy word?
:P
[/sarcasm]

I don't think Hellions need any buffs, they are pretty balanced right now. Hellions don't get holy word, but their different attacks/offensive spells and maledictions are more useful then the ones given to pallys.

Heh, no, paladins are blatantly not jacks-of-all-trades. I mean how is bolt of glory, a ranged spell that only hits a select type of enemies, using mana, the "equivalent" of cleave, a melee skill that can only be used at the start of combat? Also notice how cleave is far more versatile across auras? And hellfire? And just plain hellions themselves? Honestly, the mirror argument can be made for the causes/maledictions vs. the cures, but not all of it matches up perfectly like that. Paladins have a very focused anti-darkie role. Hellions on the other hand are not as focused on anti-lightie. Why? Because darkies are meant to fight more amongst themselves. So their skillsets are not mirrors... which is a good thing. It makes the game less obvious and more interesting.

Their skills, while many of them share that mirrorish trait, are far from a complete mirror and that is far from an argument to give hellions holy word. These lists are just stupid. You could equate dominate to sanc just as much as you could intimidate.
