How about we add something along the lines of fighting style. Fighting and perhaps adventuring classes can choose to focus in a particular style. When a player pics this the style affords them certain bonuses to using stances, certain weapon subtypes, gives dodge/shieldblock bonuses/pentalties.
Basically choosing a style gives you bonuses and penalties depending on the style, certain styles are vulnerable to others, make empty hand of some use. It will adjust what weapon subtypes go well with a style. Perhaps make is so that armor affects the style.
It would add something to make warriors more unique and less cookie cutter.
