A circle of stones Not far from the city of Teron, this small clearing is home /yyyy to the renowned portal stones, of which several scatter the --*yy realms. Brave souls have been known to utilize the arcane power ryyyy that is bound to the stones, travelling to far lands in the blink of an eye. A path leads west through the fields, directly to the city gate. It's clear, hot, and there is absolutely no wind. Obvious exits: n e s w nw ne sw se portal (Glowing) A mystical deep red portal flickers in the midst of the stones. A set of rune-inscribed stones frame the center of the clearing here. An Uxmaln pack mule appears in the room. (HP: 99%)(MP:100%)(MV: 5%) A circle of stones 4pm zero >You ride an Uxmaln pack mule west. Since recall drained PE. I think this change was in 2004-05, some time after the only 'nerf' change I ever remember being changed back to what it was before, which was recall costing XP. |

Yep, the only difference between wor and recall is recall requires your pulse to slow down. |

LOL Vials contain the spell of word of recall, the way the spell works is that it takes you back to your native portal stones and takes a portion of your PE. Been that way for years. |

In the beginning, recalling/WoR took 1/2 of your current (remaining) PE. There may have been a very small %age you needed to have available to do it, but it was in the realm of <2%. It was fairly easy to train up WoR back in the day, or to make numerous flights from combat using WoR. When changes came to certain skills costing them a specific amount of PE (ex bash), the change was also made to recall/WoR to be a specific amount of movement instead of a certain %age. As others have indicated, this change has been around for awhile now. |

I'm still against WoR being brewable...Makes it too easy to escape and having bash a necessity. If people went into enemy territory and didn't have an instant way to escape, I think things would be a lot more interesting...Just my 2 cents. |
