A rich, elegant carpet lines the walkway into the heart of this inn,
situated in the heart of Menegroth. The militaristic presence common to the
city is lost here, subsided in favor of a far more luxurious appeal. Rich
oaken panels line the lower portion of the walls, topped to the ceiling with
fine textured wallpaper. Arched, but yet not of a cathedral's caliber, the
roof in this hall reinforces the overall structure of privilege and stature
in this land, however making even the most humble visitor feel of
importance. A soft ambiance is given off from the ornate chandeliers that
hang from each arch overhead.

It's been stated that it's curse worthy for anyone to go ethereal and lead aggro NPCs to people. Is this because leading aggro around with ethereal is considered code abuse? Or is it because it's seen as against the golden rule (or rude, or whatever?) If it's because of generally being inconsiderate, then this should be curse worthy by the same principle.

Redman has the right of it. There's a old note saying that dragging aggro NPCs where they might attack newbies is subject to penalty. But that's the rationale. That there's no crime is not cursable, just a balance issue.

Also, attacks not based on RP are also cursable. (They don't HAVE to talk with you, but there needs to be a cause more solid than IC/OOC boredom.)

I did it for something approaching a year and was never cursed for it.

Have a valid RP reason and it's fine, they now wander off as well due to me doing it quite a bit. They'll attack anyone in the room, and then if no one is there to kill they'll leave. They don't linger and kill everyone that comes in anymore.

They do however track down anyone that runs away. It's a guaranteed kill unless they recall away. Nobody can kill one of those by themself, except possibly a paladin who is sitting behind a very buff horse.

Those things are strong enough while controlled, and even stronger when you free them. Anybody that is front row when those get released is almost guaranteed to die.

If a necro attacks a city and kills you, the attack on a city alone is normally enough RP for them to get away with pks in the process. Though, freeing NPCs as they are killing someone, so they can avoid being outlawed, is an obvious abuse of a bug and people should stop doing this immediatly.
