I propose a more logical order of building your new character.

First we should be able to select the class we would like to play
The alignment right after, and then the race.

And that is because the most changes happen on classes and not alignments or races.
Normally most people would dream about their character's class and then everything after.

This way new players that join the game, will easily KNOW what classes exist in the game.

If that is not an option for coding or what else reason, at least there should be a back
button for returning to the previous set of choices for building your hero.

That way we will have less deletions due to checks of available classes.

It used to be like that and it was purposefully changed. SK is roleplaying game where playing according to your alignment is not only mandatory, but should be considered the most important part of your character. I want that to be evident from the very first minute you enter the game. The old way, too many people picked whatever alignment option was available at the tail end of creation without even considering the impact on how they should play their character. Or in some cases, with the intention of ignoring alignment entirely, because it wasn't their "first choice". Now alignment IS your first choice. Choose the personality of the character you want to play and all follows from there.
