Previous to the code update, when purchasing it took from the lowest coins then moved upward, that seems to have been reversed and is rather annoying. |

I don't think that is the case. But if you have money in various containers, it's semi-random what container the code will start pulling the money from to start with. Were you keeping all your big coins in a different container? That would explain it. |

No I wasn't, I pulled all my coins from my container, also it seems rogue NPCs in the gypsy camp are able to steal through the container. |
