Post subject:  Cabal HQ?

I've heard there is a nameless cabal HQ that is on an island surrounded by ocean.

I won't be detailed since that's apparently against forum rules, however dictating that attackers must fly, or have knowledge and correct class to even go to the HQ is completely absurd and somewhat imbalanced.

Please address.

It's not a noticeable enough advantage unless you *cough* decide to gate to the spire island and fly over it during the day.

DISCLAIMER: Since I don't play the game I'm just going on what Sklz said.

Having a cabal HQ that attackers can only get to with flight is one hell of an advantage if you ask me, because that also means they can't flee from it without flight, or a WoR pot.

Any advantage is still an advantage especially when no other HQ's have that luxury.

This was brought before the staff, to which the response was "Well, they have to fly or gate to get out there in the first place, so it's not an advantage."

Not precisely, but okay. You certainly are not the first to address the issue, so you won't be the first to be told, "It's not a problem."

I remember some pretty cool old cabal hq's being destroyed, that players and imm's had put tons of time into creating due to one (#!/(! reason - that there is only one way to build a cabal hq now with CRS.

It's not like it's some short-bus cabal that needs special attention really....

Give the rest of us the same posibilites and make sure we understand that we have them, rather than just letting a group of exclusive few getting all the perks of having imms on yim, or otherwise communicating with them.
Make sure we know what possibilites we have to gain special perks. Afterall this is fair game right? Not just some wet dream come true to those who are best friends forever with the staff, and not humbled or shy of contacting them.
