They should have the ability to choose which in stat they will receive a bonus and it should NOT be based on their class.

That idea would be awesome for the hybrid classes, and interesting for all the others.

However, you'd see way way less diversity in the races people actually play, so who knows.

It'd be a nice buff to human/helf priests (And subsequently a nerf to all other priest races).

Errrr...

Actually, after thinking about it, anyone who played a hellion or paladin would always choose human if this went into affect (INT anyone?), and I like the viability of half-elves/elves/centaurs as paladins or hellions. So I'm not a big fan.

Big buff to humans. As of now, human is still the best race for a number of classes - why not spend time buffing the shittier races/classes before we buff the strong ones?

While a good idea, which makes a lot of sense, both RP- and mechanics-wise. I too find it to be too harmful to the variety at the moment, but I would love to see it some day.

i approve of this idea.

subsequent buffs/nerfs would have to follow to compensate, of course, but this is a superior system to what is currently implemented.

What would you like your main stat to be?

Str, Dex, Con, Wis, Int, Cha
