I was (back row, no reach, no front row pets) in a group accidentally visiting a city in which one of the group members was outlawed. A guard appeared and was near instantly slain by members of the front row with an npc witness present. We took off and a few hours later my character is outlawed. Is this a new feature? From what I can remember you used to only get outlawed if you or one of your pets/charms committed a crime. |

If this is a feature, I endorse it. Guilty by association needs to be code. |

I'll say it: what needs to be code is Banish-on-Demand, Crime/Punishment Logs, and the ability to get champions out of the fortress guard. |

I personally feel that 3rd row healers are as guilty as the 1st row gank squad they are trolling with. |

Now i'll agree with that but simply walking into a city on accident with someone who is enemied and gettig enemied their yourself when you havent done anything wrong, is crap to me. Theres enough 'whos got the bigger pants' theme going on with the cities anyhow. |

The position of the law is to err on the side of over-reaction, from a municipal standpoint. Litigious situations are the price, many could argue, of the protection that very litigation provides. In other words, being charged for a crime is sometimes the price you pay for the right to charge others for their crimes. As Locke says best, entering a city is a tacit consent to the laws you enjoy there. There was an easy way to avoid the problem that didn't require any coding. What I'd be more interested in, personally, is a tribunal attempt to implement taxation without any help from the code. I can only think of one place where it would work, though. |

I think law should be taken out completely, Jail is utter crap and a detriment to the game. |
