It takes way to long to catch fish.

Fail.

Fishing shouldn't be insta catch, that would be boring.

I've spent many hours on a lake and barely caught a thing. I've spent only a few hours and caught enough to feed the neighborhood. It all depends on the fish, the weather, the season and the activity in the area. There have also been times where I've been out from before sun-up till well after sun-down and not caught a thing. It is all about being in the zone.

Really don't care what you do on a lake or how many real fish you catch.
Sitting in a game and catching one fish every 30 mins is silly. Fishing on the game is just really an RP feature anyhow, unless you're completely hard up for some food there isn't another reason to do it. It would be nice if it were faster.

Rp takes time. And it takes like 3 minutes to catch a fish.

If everything on sk was easy and took no time, then it would be boring.

Keep it as it is.

If it only took me three mins to catch a fish, i'd not have said a thing.
Did you bother to read where i said it took me about 30 mins?

This is how it LOOKED to work, as it has no help file and i couldn't find anything on the forums as i searched.

Two people in the room, the one who casted the line LAST caught a fish between 10-20 mins, then it would move to the person who had casted first, who had already been sitting there for 10-20 mins, then they would catch a fish 10-20 mins later.

There are some things in this game that I have found that do have some link to their real-life counterpart. Fishing may be one of them. Try a different location, I've had success rather rapidly with fishing on here, it all depends on where you are. You have to be in the zone, either real-life or in-game. Just like a sprite can't fly well against high winds, I don't think fish can live well near a city or in certain speed waters.

And Raina, where in my first post did I ever say that I was completely referring to real-life? If you say it takes a half-hour to catch one fish, then how come I managed to catch close to 50 in less than an hour once? It's location, location, location.

But if you want it to go faster, then I want leveling to go faster. [scarcasm]It takes me too long to get to grandmaster make it so I can do it in 5 minutes please. [/scarcasm]
