Since I used to take great pride in my client end scripts, I am wondering if I should start making things for zMud's sucessor, cMud. I dont LUA scripting but if there is a demand from players, I will consider working on it more. |

I tried, but then I hated it. The ansi logging system is trash, the html logs take up wayyy too much space. Plus it seems to be riddled with bugs. All in all, I much prefer Zmud. |

Had to. Zmud wouldn't work with windows 7. It's just good that I can use some of my old alliaces. |

I would consider myself an avid user of CMUD. Thousands of hours of enjoyment from its predecessor for only $25. They billed it as lifetime upgrades, but everyone has got to eat. So I tried it, it runs triggers faster, handles window issues a little better, the settings files definitely don't have the corruption issues that I had with Zmud. However, I've found a few bugs in its use, as a BETA client, I'm fine with that. The Zmud/Cmud client is the one biggest hurdle for me switching over to a linux type OS. I'd have already done so if I were sure I could switch without losing all the scripting I've done in Cmud. |

Zmud can be run in Windows 7. You just have to grant write access to the User group on the folder where you install it, and right-click "Run as Administrator" the first time you run it so it can register its COM classes. Otherwise, I would have switched as well. |
