So. What do people think of slay scripts on items.

Are they just [REDACTED] devices for builders without creativity to get a laugh out of messing with players?

Once you've run across four or five of them on one character, with more than half your character deaths being down to them, should you become immune due to you learning to "see it coming".

Finally, if you're going to put a slay script on something, do it right. Don't get it wrong so that a character gets stuck in limbo, unable to do anything except use the who command and pray, and wait for an imm to log on (can't even log off properly).

Signed:

A disgruntled player who's discovered a lot of rubbish items in the last month or two.

Pm me a list of items, I can only think of one off the top of my head and that shouldn't cause problems if you use it right.

I'd like to see nine very weak NPCs in a mob-group.

This idea was inspired by Baldric's last post.

I'd like to see the slay command trainable at amateur by all classes.
