Thats interesting. Krewt asked Achernar about both the heart and the hand and was told that niether could be destroyed except by Algorab himself.

It's a one-time quest reward (that lighties initially got I might add and would have been gone if junked) that has VERY restricted usability and severe penalties. Granted the heal quaffing block wasn't something I intended, but couldn't be avoided.
