If you go through the oracle to get life isn't it punishment enough to lose XP, but then you get spirit disorientation as well? Seems like being kicked while down.

Is it not all incentive to seek out and otherwise keep friendly/allied priests?

The argument that could be made is the same one used to justify it in the first place. Death is a traumatic experience, and restoring your soul to a body is just as disorienting. It doesn't matter how that process occurs.

It does, by making you lose a level

I'm pretty sure you'd be alone on your soapbox claiming that losing a level is comparable to the "nightmare" of spirit disorientation.

Really, it's not all that freaking bad, SK1. I'm not sure what you're looking for, here. You acknowledge that you're QQing, so I'll humor you. QQ more.

Being someone, who do to RP, has taken all of the options for getting back to life with one character, I do not see what the issue really is. I've not really noticed disorientation hampering me to the point where I can't do anything. I do notice it, but I deal with it, now when I have three or more stacked, then it's an issue but that is rare.

So, I will echo this:

Actually, it does matter. Imm rezz = no spirit disorientation.
