A circle of stones
Not far from the city of Teron, this small clearing is home
yyy to the renowned portal stones, of which several scatter the
-*y realms. Brave souls have been known to utilize the arcane power
yyy that is bound to the stones, travelling to far lands in the blink
of an eye. A path leads west through the fields, directly to the
city gate. It's mostly clear, mild, and calm.
Obvious exits: n e s w nw ne sw se portal
(Glowing) A mystical golden portal flickers in the midst of the stones.
A set of rune-inscribed stones frame the center of the clearing here.

What just happened? Instead of landing on the shores of death I was raised. Is this a bug or have I died so much I got some frequent flier miles?

Its not really a QQ, you'd cry if you were out in that dreamscape or "adventuring" like you do, and die and be rezzed and have a really hard time getting back to your corpse, wouldn't you?

Well, you just have to be quick. When in the River, you are not auto rezed. Its not until you got to the island you are auto-rezed.
