I sure do wish D would give coding authority to someone. The game is really starting to feel abandoned. |

Its quite sad. There's nobody he would trust. There's no chance he'll be free enough to have time to invest to make the difference we all would like to see. Nearly every player and staffer wants new features and code. Dulrik won't have time for that kind of investment. The most we'll get from him is another set of bug fixes. It doesn't bode well for the game that this is the reality. I'm not sure I see a light at the end of the tunnel here. My interest in the game is waning as I see the exciting things going on at the local gaming shop. I can't justify trying to drag players there here, when they're already paying to play an RPG (MTG or D&D). That was my initial reason for showing up there, but I guess now its all about finding what I'm going to do when I'm too depressed to log in to SK. |

I don't think it's as bad as all that. Dulrik isn't our slave, he codes when he can do it, not when people on the forums start saying he hasn't done enough for them lately. Dulrik has been working on SK since '96. I can't believe he'd just flush it all away and abandon it to rot. If he can't work on the game he can't do it. I don't have the kind of access to Dulrik Achernar and other imms like Mira have, but I just don't believe the game is abandoned. The fact Dulrik doesn't trust someone enough to code on his game tells me right there he cares alot about his work on SK. If it were abandoned why wouldn't he just hand it off and say "Go for it!" I think he'll be back I don't know when but as soon as he actually can is my guess. I'm glad Dulrik has alot going on in his life. This is a bad time for alot of people, sounds like Dulrik has really come out ahead of things in this recession. |

I like to keep faith that Dulrik is busy building and coding the ninja class. Other than that, I don't think there are any bug fixes that are in immediate need to be fixed. Honestly, Chemhound, Dulrik has already fixed the bug of Alshain being an immortal. What more do we need to ask for. Also, QQ more Mira and Achernar. |
