Both abilities shouldn't stack with existing weapon enchantments. Also, the bonuses the spells gift should be added in after any damage multiplier granted by cleave/backstab/clop clop darkie killer are used. This will be a slight wimp to the barbarian class, which desperately needs a wimp and a huge nerf to the rogue class, which probably will still be very okay after the wimp.

Basically you'll have to think, do I want to enchant my weapon, or make use of the frenzy spell? For barbarians it'll be a no-brainer though, they'll pretty much berserk all the time and won't need extra damage enchants. this should help slow combat down a little as barbarians won't be hitting with some crazy +15 damage to their weapon, and absolutely molesting their victim.

Wimp melee classes?

Yeah, they definitely need wimping, I can't think of any other class type that needs wimping more than melee classes.

This should be a priority!

Consider when most of the caster classes get really bad.

Yeah, it's when they control NPCs who are melee classes.

Funny how that works.

Then the problem lies with the NPCs, not the classes.

You realize barbs were nothing compared to merks with spec before we added fury, correct?

I'm pretty sure it was the fact that barbarians could not berserk while bashed that made them worse than mercenaries. Mercenaries are still limited to the 2 specs that they choose while the barbarian has more room for experimentation, and if a particular subtype is heavily hoarded by other pcs the barbarian can try a similar subtype and still be efficient with it.

Now though, a barbarian can fly into a blind rage at any point and trash things.
