It probably helps against damage from other spells, but I wouldn't say it's particularly noticeable. |

I'd be very surprised if RE didn't limit the damage from spells like fireball and cone of cold. |

The main reason it would surprise me is that fireball never seemed to do a lot of damage to me when I had RE. The problem is that I can't remember getting hit with fireball when I didn't have RE, so fireball might just suck. |

being a warlock i can say that it affects most of my spells, i cast it on myself and then cast the spells on myself, it is noticable. But without resistments otherwise it doesnt do much. |
