If defensive makes casting take longer why does aggressive not make casting faster? |

Yes, I am pretty sure that stance aggressive casting is faster than stance neutral casting and that stance neutral casting is faster than stance defensive casting. zapping/brandishing/reciting isn't affected by stance, though. |

Na, stance aggressive and neutral casting are the same. |

Is there any advantage to being mood aggressive as a caster? |

But now I have to see for myself! [Edit] This is what I was talking about: http://www.shatteredkingdoms.org/forums ... e&start=40 Dulrik wrote: If I were to add spellcasting bonuses for aggressive stance, I'd also have to add spellcasting penalties. Currently there are none.
PS. I'll add I still don't feel it makes sense. The benefits of the stances are all physical. |

Oh, and as far as I know there are no benefits to being in aggressive stance as a caster. I use it once in a blue moon with my priest to chop off a NPC's arms, but that's about it. |

It's possible that Akiko was in defensive stance and just didn't realize it. *shrugs* |

Wasn't saying you were wrong - I still intend to test it. It could have either a) changed since Dulrik's post or b) work differently than D thinks it does. Also, as I was reading through oldies but goodies, I found this: Dulrik wrote: Stance isn't like mood where you could set it and forget it.
D made a Ron Popeil funny. |
