I was talking with some fellow SK'ers of old and we are in agreement about the wastelands- we would like to see the entrance changed back to its old position in the Cursed Woods. It would be frequented much more. Does anyone else agree? Is it even possible to re-open a portal there again?

On a side note- it would be nice if all the creatures were tagged as fiends as well, makes traveling at night much easier, but we be happy to just get the portal back again :)

Personally I don't see why this would be necessary. This area isn't very tough at all. I've 'tanked' it with my rogue several times and it's not that hard to navigate.

Now that being said I suppose that's more the reason to make it more easily accessible. Overall though I don't see why there would be any benefit if it were. It's quite easy to get to as it is. The only thing I'd expect from it being that easily accessed again is newbies wandering in and getting themselves killed.

Just make it so one of those paladins inside the portal(or even that blacksmith, forget it's name?) is a gate target.

If you can gate, it doesn't take hardly any time at all to get to said place.
