I definitely do wish that sprites could be priests, kudos on that suggestion. I know that the bloodlines are supposed to be tribal, so shamans do make more sense racially, but just like the sprites have the option of joining "big people" society (why hello there, Mr. Duskdancer) I think they should have the option of pursuing a spiritual connection with the gods. |

I heard from somewhere that sprites were purposefully disallowed from any heavy armor classes. That said, I think the primary reason for sprite priests is that they're supposed to not be able to handle the dedication to serve a deity as a priest is required. |

But yet sprites can and do join religions as well as becoming high followers of them. Which takes just as much dedication and faith as it would being a priest. |

I think edoras' point is the main one and the notion that a sprite cannot dedicate itself in such a capacity is the thinly stretched IC argument for this. With that said, there is a sprite priest NPC and it is a trainer. And with that said, just because their is a NPC doesn't mean it should be a playable race/class but I just wanted to point that out. I'd personally like to see sprite priests. I find that the argument that they cannot focus enough pegs the race down to a specific style of play further that argument effectiely belittles the shaman class, suggesting that anyone, even a "oh look shiney" sprite can do it. Oh and uhhh :cough:delf bards:cough: |
