Jesus christ, people. While it is nice to see ideas and suggestions for changing the game, and I'm sure we all have some AMAZINGLY SPLENDIFEROUS IDEAS you might want to try keeping them to things that don't require coding. Making suggestions that require coding is currently a waste of both your time, and the reader's. It's never going to happen. Ever. |

I know very little about how computers work, and even less about how changing a MUD works. How can I tell if my idea requires coding? |

Changing anything about how a skill/spell works, whether adding new ones or altering existing ones. |

So if I had an idea for a new area, or to change the description of an old area (I.E. the vandalized Ain temple in Nerina), that would be really easy? Or at least doable? |

My suggestion is to quit posting stupid topics like this one just to rant about something that doesn't even matter because this also wastes my time when I read it as well, and as you suggested this doesn't require any coding at all. |
