Is it true that enchanting a ranged weapon will only affect the damage and accuracy it deals when used in melee?
If that is the case... What gives? I understand that ranged combat has different code but I would think that this makes no sense. Last time I checked you could not enchant ammo either.

As I understand there is some bug affecting ranged combat, where the stats used are only the ammunition shot out of it. I do believe, however, that the enchantments on the ranged weapon do get tacked on to the missile. Don't quote me on that, it may not actually work that way because ranged combat just seems exceptionally [REDACTED] right now.

Ranged weapon enchantments definitely matter as to the power of the shots.

Last time I played, they didn't matter squat. Only to the bow as melee weapon.

I noticed an astounding difference between being shot with a +12/+12 bow versus being shot with an unenchanted bow as Antiira.
