So, currently, people are getting arrested and scheduled for execution, then having a friend go get arrested for one day so they can give them things like scripted containers (which will never get confiscated, due to them being containers) and not lose them when they get executed.

Discuss.

Don't do the crime and get caught. and I voted for the tool part cause it was better than an anjin option.

Legitimate until an IMM says otherwise.

I do wonder whether a jailer would allow this to happen, though. I can see why this might be considered abuse.

Also, can't you two get along?

I don't see a problem with this. A while ago it was non-issue because any crime for which death was a sentence also involved a full-loot from the law IIRC. As it stands, currently if you get jailed for execution but they don't confiscate everything, you have a few options:

A) Get broken out.
B) Get a pardon.
C) Pass off your EQ to another prisoner.
D) Junk your EQ while you have friends set to regather it
E) Have people wait at the execution spot for your corpse, and if they happen to not have it right before your execution, junk it all anyway.

There are plenty of options to prevent whoever happens to be available from looting your headless body. In my case I went with the easiest, which was passing it off, though I would have preferred a jailbreak, and worse case scenario is that I would have junked it all before I was executed because screw those guys.

If this is seen as an abuse, then I won't have a problem with it, but I think it's perfectly fine. Arguments against it are...

A) "There's a jailer watching you." No, there isn't. Some dude drops in 4 times a day to hand off some food. That's it.

And uhh... okay, that's all the arguments against it I can think of.

This is the SK equivalent of "Jailbreak."

In fact, I think it'd be kind of cool if you could get a bunch of your friends in the cell and force your way out from in.

I don't really care either way, and Baldric is right. You two should just stop.

I voted for Edoras being a whiny tool, but only because this is a troll topic.

Gods, you guys are dense at times.

Honestly, you shouldn't be able to do any of that, probably. If you're scheduled for execution, your stuff is forfeit. Not to mention that they will never confiscate a container due to code.

Again, as a player, I don't see how you think junking/giving your stuff in jail, where you're chained to a wall (You can't move enough to HIT other people, but you can strip and give and destroy it? Yeah right.) and there's a guy popping by every 6 hours or whatever is okay but seancing a dead person is OMG HORRIBLE. I mean. the guards would notice. HMM. JOE JUST GOT ARRESTED FOR A DAY AND LEFT WITH JIM'S STUFF.

Chained to a wall?

If that were the case, wouldn't you be unable to do much of anything but send tells while in jail?

I mean I find it hard to write notes when my hands are shackled at arm's length. . .

Don't be silly, Joe would hide Jim's stuff in his robes obviously.

This is a case of Syn assuming too much, and we disagree as a result. I'm fine with that.

So. Why can't you kill people in jail anymore?

Why can't I enter the brass hoop while in jail?
