An ancient relic of Yoppari's is unearthed. Across the realms there are game squares located with which people can come and play. It seems some time in the past Yoppari created a game consisting of small statues, when placed upon the board by two opposite players they grow in size and are then controled by the players who set them in motion. Each player can place up to three statues at a time upon the game board and battle till only one player has any staues remaining. It is said the winner is then blessed by Yoppari for a short period of time. The newest rage of the lands! Basically you collect little statues that posses various abilities, you then enter the battlefield upon which you gain control of the statue and it's special abilities to PK without risk of loss of loot. One a statue is defeated it is destroyed and recycled into the game and must be recovered. Basic statues can be bought and sold at local merchants, more advanced merchants, the more powerful ones quested for or found in treasure hoards. The winner of course then gets a special prize and since it is a game of chaos, your prizes are chaotic, from gold, to food, to special buffs, to being turned into a newt for a period of time, who knows?! That is the fun of Mayhem & Monsters. |

Interesting idea, but it reminds me of the Yu-Gi-Oh crap on tv. |

As long as we include even smaller statues for the first genus of statues to battle each other with. Then, we can play a game, about playing a game, -about playing a game.- |
