Tribunal guards should not attack outlaws when the outlaws are grouped with members of that tribunal. The reasons for this are pretty obvious but I guess I'll state them anyways.

1) It often forces tribunal members to kill their own guards.
2) It makes no IC sense. Upon seeing the outlaw grouped with a tribunal member, the guard would surmise that the outlaw should not be treated as an enemy. The guard would also not attack his superior officer.

The way things are currently are very silly and should be changed if possible.

It should be very possible, given that the law code already checks for grouped state for the "guilt by association" part.

This change has been talked about frequently over the last few years, but most often when Dulrik is inactive.

If you quickly pardon all people fighting the NPC a peace command goes in and stops the fighting. Try it, fight your own tribunal NPC and pardon yourself. You will stop fighting.

Wow, I had no idea.

I'm not convinced. If you are grouped with a law breaker, looks like you are a good cop gone bad.

No, Dulrik, what happens is people come and help you defend your city against enemies who are committing mass murder against your citizens. Then they get reported for hurting these people and suddenly the guards in your group decide it makes sense to attack them. It's silly.

It's the tribunal's job to deal with lawbreakers and no one else's. If you don't have a leader around to pardon this beneficial interloper, don't ask them to help out or else expect to see these kinds of problems.

I guess I'll just use Tragonis's suggestion and if I'm not quick enough, I'll justify killing my own guards by saying that if they're attacking me and Taslamar's allies, they're clearly corrupt.

You were already bad if you serve in the Midnight Council or Black Hand.

Then substitute with bad cop gone good.
