Code: [Skills help] blitzkrieg Syntax: blitz Blitzkrieg, like other skills which fighters have, can be used during combat to increase the damage done to their enemies. It allows those wielding a slashing type weapon to make a single attack against everyone in the front row of the enemy formation. The skill can be used but once every few rounds. So the helpfile sounds pretty cool. I could if I so choose having wielded a slashing weapon make a single attack against the enemy formation's front row. However, the stark reality is that the skill behaves nothing like what the helpfile says. When using blitzkrieg it functions much like spirit horde, in that it only targets those that are in direct melee with the mercenary. This includes people in the 2nd row, if the mercenary is wielding a reaching weapon, and able to hit that row. Functionally, any mercenary in the 2nd row themselves cannot make use of this skill...or can they? Code: Life 91 Mana 54 Move 70 But you aren't fighting anyone! You slash someone's chest HARD, cutting through her ribs! You raise your weapon and slash it deep into someone's chest! You dodge someone's attack. You raise your weapon and slash it deep into someone's chest! You slash someone's windpipe, resulting in a shower of BLOOD! Someone dodges your attack. You dodge someone's attack. Someone's foot is skillfully severed from her leg. You can't find it. As shown by this, you can use blitzkrieg, it does no damage, but it still eats moves, and a character can still improve at it. Can this skill be fixed to function like it actually should, though? |

Back when the Taslamaran bounty NPCs were temporarily changed to halberd mercs, I think one Blitzkrieg'd Turon for like 20% damage. Granted, I had no defensive buffs, but I would guess that the bounty NPC's weapon was also unenchanted and that he was unbuffed. One honest problem with blitzkrieg is that it's based on weapon attack and not weapon subtype: For example, you can't blitzkrieg with a flaming bite halberd, which seems silly. The fact that it also doesn't work in any way shape or form as the helpfile suggests is also a big "huh?" towards it, although it does make for some easy leveling. |

I have brought this up before, however it has yet to be fixed. It works exactly like spirit horde and like it completly useless if not taking the hits. If anything take away the pe hit when you try blitzing and not the tank Claymore blitz is pretty awesome actually |

It should be reworked IMO. For it to be useful you must be aggressive, and to be aggressive and taking hits from multiple targets in PVP is suicide. Unless you can drop them all very fast! |
