For the love of god, and ALL that is holy, this spell needs to be looked into.

It's definitely NOT fun to have to sit for three RL hours, peering through a screen spam of a bard singing and three people enchanting only to see that the random results of this spell mean I have to junk an item and start over. I do not consider this a productive way to spend my time and I'm pretty sure nobody else of the enchanting profession is.

The ideas have been plentiful, the suggestions as well, there must be SOMETHING that can be done, with the simplest solution being removing the randomness of the result!

And no, if I want to stay true to my RP that we all so vehemently uphold, I cannot say no to my cabal people in their request to enchant, when they will be facing equally enchanted opponents.

You're doing it wrong.

By all means, show me the way... so far, in the past ten days, I've logged on at least three times only to sit in a room and enchant for two hours, then someone else asking me to do the same.

Short of being a dick and saying no, I can't see what I'm doing wrong, since the outcome is random :(

Go back to Mass Effect 2 :P
I've never enchanted for you anyway.

Yeah, enchanting sucks if you're looking to get a suit that will do some good against casters. I've made my postulations, and I think it would be great to be able to specify the type of enchantment you want as long as it doesn't make enchanting an uber suit any easier. As I recall I had a good amount of votes towards that proposed change when I posted it in gameplay back then too.

Just do what I do for my faction -- kill the people with massive enchantments and give them to your members.

No time spent enchanting at all!

Toji, tell your cabalmates to lower their standards. The truth is that with their skill level, chances are they will be dying regardless, and they have a high probability of dying due to stupidity as opposed to dying due to lack of enchants.

Whip up a 20wp 15fort 20mp suit and tell them to wear it and to stop complaining about resistance. This sort of suit will take about twenty minutes to make, unless you start with good items, in which case you will not have to enchant at all. Don't waste time enchanting the l33t bulletproof suits for people who are going to die to newb mistakes anyways. There are actually very few players who deserve to have these kinds of suits because there are very few players who are only going to die when they get unlucky and fail a save.

If you have someone who is actually pretty good at pvp, and probably isn't going to die unless they fail a save, go ahead and make a 25wp 20fort 30mp suit, keeping mr below 10. That is 75 useful enchants spread out over 14 or so slots, meaning if you start with good items, you'll only have to add a couple to each piece.

The only time it becomes difficult to whip up a passable suit is when someone is relying heavily on stat mods or scripted items.

Changes to the enchant armor spell should be considered very carefully before implementation because game balance is heavily affected by this spell.

I'm gonna let you finish baldric, but uh Iureana had probably one of the best kits of all time.

So did Atreidan because I ganked Deamuce, and then all Iureana's old loot got swiped from me and given to you while I was having it identified. You're welcome. You're also welcome for helping to enchant it in the first place.

Also, that was one of the best kits in the modern era for sure, but my understanding is that people used to put a lot more work into that stuff. That suit had ~7 MR or something.
