Why is it the good-hearted, light-auraed folks of Iane'elanka will stand there with their thumbs up their butts as you murder their neighbors and friends, but the callous, evil and dark-auraed folks will gladly help out their buddies and attack anyone who attacks their friends? That's extra fun when the attacker happens to be somebody that can dish out extra damage every round, and absolutely destroy your armor. This setup really sticks it to lightie chars, since they have really only one of the zones to train in, but grays and darkies can reasonably go to any of the three the choose, and they can avoid the evil areas if they feel like it but still use the area to train.

The lighties are too scared that you're justified in your rampant murder and they wouldn't want to interfere.

It's already a lot easier to level up light-aura characters, though. Use a different area if that area is too difficult for your race/class/alignment.
