I have no issues with these and it makes sense. However, after a period of inactivity I've found that my bank balance is a good 25-30 obsidian less. Now, I've only been inactive for around a month (and even then I was logging in for at least an hour if not 2 hours per week). My issue is simply that there is no mention of this in the help files. Which, considering I had low activity for one month (that is four weeks the length of a lot of peoples annual holiday), I also personally feel that the degree of loss is a little excessive, however, that is not the purpose of this. Quote: Game help] bank
Syntax: balance deposit <amount> withdraw <amount> Banks are located in some of the cities and larger towns in Shattered Kingdoms. These institutions protect your hoardes of wealth, should you be lucky enough to accumulate any, from pickpockets and thieves. Your money remains safe in the bank even when you die (unless confiscated as penalty by the law-keepers). For any of these commands to work, you must be standing in a bank. The amounts used by the banks are always given in copper coins. Worth will tell you, at a glance, the amount of money in your inventory (as well as your progress towards the next level). |

It's roughly in line with the dehoarding of equipment. Since it's a finite resource... |

It's not precisely in line, though. I've lost coin without losing eq before . . . |

It is meant to simulate the average amount of coin used by a character nominally engaged in normal use, as per Dulrik some few months ago. I think it does that pretty well. |

As I said, my issue is not with the event occuring it is that there is no mention of it in any of the help files. It was compeltely unexpected consequence of my own actions that due to the nature of my absence I would have liked to have been prepared for. |
