I am sure this has been answered somewhere but someone please humour me.

Why is it intimidate protects the ENTIRE group the hellion is in?

This is kind of overpowering in some cases, and if they are able to extend it over EVERYONE in the group then they should have to be leading.

A couple hellions in a group with sanctuary and things become overly complicated.

That's not how intimidate works. It's not like sanctuary. It just scares you from attacking anyone. The effect is on you, not the hellion's group. You shouldn't try targeting at the hellion first.

No it seems to check whenever you try to attack anyone in the group last time I tried to attack it. Even if I aimed for 11 13's intimidate kicked in and stopped me from attacking.

Not to mention, intimidate drops as soon as the hellion is fighting. And once it lands, you can't break through it.

My issue is not how it works for the hellion, it's how it seems to extend to the whole group.

That's what the skill is designed to do.

So, what, you want to be able to completely bypass intimidate by attacking the hellion's pet?

Jesus christ, find something else to qq about.

You miss the part where if intimidate is extened to the group the hellion should be the leader. I don't care about your pet, I would like to hit that warrior ahead of you and to your right.

You are intimidated by the hellion's /presence/.

That doesn't require the hellion be leading.

P.S. People with enchants don't get intimidated. Then again, I'm talking to spidermonkey.

If he isn't leading the group and hiding behind another PC, he shouldn't be intimidating enough to stop me from hitting the front line pc.

This is just all kinds of dumb.

Since when does being the leader require you to be in the front row?
