Only cast spells.

Only spells that are cast. Spells from items do not cause impairment.

Ok, just wondered if it was horribly lopsided that someone could use a scroll to launch impairment then launch a spell.

I was being newbish. Thanks

You could go the other way, though.

I'm also assuming that scripts don't cause impairment?

Quicker to recite a scroll of xxxx, xxxx, xxx cast cast then cast cast recite scroll. The lag is front ended if you have to cast firts it gives the other player time to do damage or counter act you. If you recite then cast you would get impairment from three casts and then cast spell.

It works alright if you have to front load the impairment with a cast then recite.

NPCs' "glows with mystical energy" scripts cause impairment, so I don't see why other scripts wouldn't.
