The bonuses to these are way too good, while the penalties are laughable at best. Especially the magic penalty. I'd suggest making anybody under these affects take about 1.5x more damage from spells than they normally do. |

This would certainly make elf mercs in religions better! But I don't like it in general. Warriors already have it rough against Warlocks, Necros, or Sorcs (in that order). Any modification to melee damage should flow through a different way so as to impact throw-away NPCs as much as PCs. |

Not sure how it would make it any better than it is, and taking an additional 1.5x damage from finger and death, hellfire, and vampiric touch are not things to relish. |

Alas, I'd forgotten that you don't have a sense of humor or the ability to laugh with others at yourself over good natured jabs.
